Frequently Asked Questions
How does multi-platform aggregation work?
Massive connects to each platform’s API (or scrapes where needed), pulls job listings based on your search criteria, and consolidates them into a single dashboard. You authenticate once per platform, and Massive handles the rest.
How accurate is the deduplication?
With strict matching (title + company + location), accuracy is ~95%. Fuzzy matching reduces false positives but may miss some duplicates. We recommend enabling fuzzy matching for broader searches and disabling for niche roles.
Which sync frequency should I choose?
Hourly is optimal for most users—balances freshness with API rate limits. Real-time requires webhook support (only LinkedIn, Simplify). Daily is fine for passive job seekers. Avoid real-time if you’re on free API tiers.
Can I apply to jobs directly from Massive?
Yes! Massive integrates with Simplify Jobs and LazyApply for one-click applications. For other platforms, you’re redirected to the original job posting. Premium users can auto-apply across all platforms simultaneously.
What happens if I exceed API rate limits?
Massive automatically throttles requests and queues jobs for the next sync window. You’ll see a notification in your dashboard. To avoid this, increase sync frequency or upgrade to premium API tiers with higher limits.
